Rediscover the quiet joy of making art by hand… Join Rich Brimer for a lively block printing class where carving, rolling, and printing become pure fun. This is your chance to slow down, laugh a little, make a joyful mess, and pull real prints you can hold, share, and proudly say, “ I made this.” Reconnect with the physical world—where creativity lives in your hands, not a screen.
Students will be provided all the tools and materials to create a block to print from. This will include a 4×6 block, block carving tools, printing ink and rollers. All you need to bring is some high contrast, single-color visuals to transfer to the blocks and a good sense of humor. There will be some optional graphics to choose from if you would rather pick something from our collection.
